How ZAWADI Makes Its Wooden Gift Boxes
Every ZAWADI box begins after an order is placed. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer.
Preparation
Timber is cut and prepared to the dimensions of the collection ordered, then the interior is divided for the number of spices in that box.
Fitting and finishing
The lid is fitted, hinges set and surfaces sanded through progressive grades before finishing. Small variations between boxes are a consequence of handwork rather than a fault.
Engraving and filling
Personalisation is applied before filling. Spices are packed and sealed, cards are placed, and the box is wrapped for transit.
Checking
Each finished gift is checked against the order — contents, personalisation, spelling — before it is packaged for shipping.
